| ABOUT FREMANTLE PRISON |
 Fremantle Prison was originally known as the Convict Establishment and was built by convict labour between 1852 and 1860. It was used as the main place of incarceration for the state of WA up until 1991, the last of it's 44 executions talking place at the gallows in 1984. Fremantle prison has now been preserved as a historic museum and tourist venue and it is well known for it's haunted activity. |

| ^ The entrance to the haunted, historic Fremantle Prison. The only historic prison in Australia still intact and where writings, marks and paintings made by prioners still cling to the walls. Many gaurds and tour guides have experienced ghosts and poltergiests first hand. Some refuse to do tours at night any more. |
^ Gathered together in the region of the prison where the ghost of one of Australia's most notorious murderers is often seen. Photos by tourists often show unexplainable 'artifacts' in the film such as balls of light, streaks, and orbs. |
