Dr. Shé D’Montford, Editor of “Spellcraft Magazine,” Australia’s premier periodical for the (pronounced Shay) occult and esoteric, is a Teacher, Healer, Author, Promoter, and Activist.
A child protégée, she began to study religion and theology at age 10 with a view to a career in Christian ministry, as there are two saints in her family, St. Simon de Montfort, 1160- June 25 1218 and St. Louis Marie de Montfort, 1673-1716. (French spelling of the English family name) However after being labelled a poltergeist at 12 years of age and then being ostracized by her church, her focus shifted to studying all aspects of the esoteric arts with a view to understanding her new gifts as well as honing and developing her skills to assist others. Shé was privileged to receive personal specialist training in the mystical arts and sciences. She became the ‘Magician’s apprentice’ as it were to an aged Tibetan hermit-shaman called Kushog, who had travelled to Australia specifically to impart the tradition to her. She also received training in Vedanitc Magic later from a Fijian shaman called Abi Rham.
Shé’s father had one of the first independent health-food companies in Australia, and in the early 70’s, was the first person to introduce the anti-cancer vitamin Laetrile to Australia. Because of being raised in this environment, Shé naturally turned her abilities to healing others and has continued to work in the alternative therapies industry. There have been many write-ups about her successes in treating people of supposedly incurable and permanent illnesses. Shé’s methods of treating illness are both logical and intuitive. She also makes use of the traditional methods taught to her by the shaman, often preparing herbal potions and brews specifically for each individual. Shé can use her strong psychometry, and remote viewing gifts to accurately diagnose an individual and impart healing energies even over great distances. Shé also has western clinical psychological counselling qualifications.
Shé’s other gifts include strong predictive and mediumistic abilities and finds it easy to communicate with spiritual beings from other realms and with the souls of the departed.
Shé has an honorary doctorate in religion & philosophy, specializing in Tibetan and Hindu Shamanism and ancient warrior codes as well as a degree in metaphysics. Shé is a member the ‘Australian Alternative And Natural Therapist Association’ (A.A.A.N.T.A.), Australian Society of Sex Educators Researchers and Therapists (A.S.S.E.R.T.) and many other organisations. Shé founded the Australian “Shambhallah Awareness Centre” and Pagan Church of which she is the ordained minister, and was the first religious Pagan marriage celebrant recognised by the Australian Attorney Generals Department. Shé is renowned for her lectures and writings on ancient mystery schools and forms of ancient sciences often called magic, as well as for presenting an authentic re-creation of 1600-year-old hermetic magic rituals around the world. She gives regular guest appearances and lectures at such events as “ The Body Mind and Spirit” and Psychic festivals, Theosophical Societies and radio shows. Shé was a featured speaker at last year’s “Nexus Conference” and this year's “Body Mind and Spirit” festivals. Shé is a prominent and well-respected member of the pagan community. She has been invited to attend the council of churches in Brisbane, has appeared on radio, TV and in the news many times in Australian and in New York, and was interviewed live to air on the BBC and “Eye On The Future” in Canada. She has written two esoteric books of her own and has chapters in both Oberon Zell-Ravenheart’s new book called “Rituals and Ceremonies” as well as one on ‘Tantalising Tantra’ in the famous white witch, Deborah Gray’s new book titled “Kinky Couture.” She is also a contributing author to and “Liber Malorium” edited by Sean Scullion, to be released this year
Shé has authored numerous articles on these subjects for many national and international esoteric and new age magazines and has been a regular contributor to such magazines as "Insight," "Psychic Interactive," “The Psychic Directory,” Australian “Witchcraft,” “Nexus,” “New Dawn,” “Hard Evidence” and "Spheres" etc. Shé gained some notoriety for her “Avoiding Armageddon” lecture, which she has presented around the globe since 1999 that predicted the 9/11 situation, and the current disaster consciousness and detailed how to avoid it impacting on the life of individuals. In recent years, Shé published many instructional DVD’s as well as a book on the dark side of Tibetan Buddhism and has travelled extensively promoting its information.
