Author, Columnist, Paranormal Expert and daughter to the famed parapsychologist, author Dr. Hans Holzer and to artist Countess Catherine Buxhoeveden. Holzer is a member of such organizations as SCBWI, Poetry.com, Firstwriters.com and IMDBpro.com. Studying at some of the best prep schools in New York City, attended The Lycee Francais, The Fleming School and The York Preparatory School. In 1992, after graduating high school, attended The Fashion Institute of Technology earning two degrees in Fine Arts and Advertising. It was here where Holzer became a self taught Graphic Designer working for small to big travel ad agencies. Leaving to begin her own Freelance business named AHG Design in 1999.
Holzer created a monthly column named 'Spirit Talk' for the Paranormal Awareness Society and for UFO Digest.com. Holzer does Q&A's for on-line magazines, UK's Paranormal Magazine, articles and goes on numerous talk radio show's. She's being deemed a real life Ghost Whisperer and has a range of followers free to ask questions on the paranormal. The Anomalist quotes off a newspaper interview with Holzer, "Hans Holzer's daughter weighs in with her own paranormal abilities."
She and her father were asked to go on film as paranormal experts, for the re-release of the popular cult film, Poltergeist, the 25th special anniversary edition in which she was on much of the two featurettes on the DVD, due out October 9th '07.
Holzer was then asked to give a testimonial in famed medium Scott Christiansan's second book called, 'The Inheritance.' Now helping other's write their own novels, lending feedback and insight to the subject matter and about publishing. Working with Librarians to Mediums in helping tell a great story non-fiction based, for YA to adults. Since connecting to other famed mediums such as the UK's Philip Solomon, Canada's Robbie Thomas and so on.
Her first book-'Lady Ambrosia-Secret Past Revealed', has had two field nomination's, one for Printz Award for Young Adult Literature by the ALA and to the IHG (International Horror Guild), as well as recently being inducted into Marquis Who's Who in America 2008 62nd Edition. Following in her father's ghostly literary footsteps, as he was inducted in the 1970s.
While raising four incredible children, continues to write children's short stories, poetry, sci-fi, fantasy novels, and supernatural horror thriller screenplays.
