Since the advent of digital clocks many thousands of people for more than three decades have asked “What is 11:11?” and “Why do I see it?” I've been asking that same question since I was 16 years old. Many authors have attempted to answer this question. What is offered within this web site is my opinion of this enigma based on more than 30 years of personal experience, observations and research. Some elements echo other writers while much is a unique interpretation.

My first web site went online in January, 1996 to ask who may also experience this event. Since then I have been inundated with fascinating and intriguing emails from around the world. Most were people relieved that they had found someone else who experienced it and thus glad they weren't insane. One such person would ultimately become my wife and I would move half way around the world from the United States to Australia to make a home and life with her. Still others offered their insights and theories based on their own observation and experience. But we all wanted to know what it meant and we knew instinctively that this experience was not coincidence but rather something meaningful, powerful, and meant exclusively for us.

I posted regularly to the web site, which had grown by leaps and bounds over the years, until August 1999 after I had published an article on 11:11 in Golden Age magazine (Australia) offering my opinion. But after so many years of searching and reading, experiencing and listening to theories I stopped writing about 11:11 altogether. So many people wanted an answer – an answer I did not have at the time - but rather, only a deep gut feeling for which there were no words to explain. My web site fell into ruin with the dust of outdated content and I forwarded all incoming emails to my wife. That site went from #1 position in the search engines to god-knows-where. Even as a professional writer and author I simply could not get into words what was just a feeling deep inside me, written, perhaps, in the language of 'emotion', and for which there were no modern words with which to describe it.

While some authors on the subject of 11:11have at times touched in me vital nerves of inner truths concerning the meaning of the symbol I mostly felt unsatisfied with the answers. Perhaps their answers were just too flowery or ‘new agey’ for an old cowboy / construction worker as I was, but while I thought some elements were very close to the truth I also felt they had wandered off track or were perhaps unwilling to publicize the truth - that only a specific bloodline around the globe experiences this event for a specific reason - and the reason was NOT to transcend into light beings of some sort but instead, something more realistic, solid and tangible.

Frankly, I don’t know for certain that they aren’t right while other times I’m not even certain we’re not collectively insane! But one thing is for absolute certain: for those of us who experience the 11:11 enigma in our lives it is very, very real, felt deep within us and is associated with particular events in our lives which are consistent and predictable. What this web site (as well as the book, “||:|| - A Journey to 2012”) offers is my personal and sometimes unique explanation of the experience: what it is, why we see it and where it’s all leading. After 30 years of living with 11:11 and diligently seeking an answer, these pages summarize my journey to an understanding. It is an honest and humble approach to explaining the enigma based on my experience and research and for all I can do to find the words to express it. For 'understanding' can only come from living its lessons across a lifetime and observing each and every situation in life for the clues.

Understanding 11:11 is to understand our life and the trials and transitions and situations that are constantly presented to us no matter where we are on the globe nor what race or religion. We are taught and trained through these courses and interactions for a specific reason meant for 2012. We are the Starborn struggling against the Darkborn for the sake and benefit of Humanity. We've always been here....and we always will be.
