Since the advent of the digital clock millions of people around the planet have shared in personal and often emotional phenomena - the repetitive appearance of the digit symbol ‘11:11’ For most the experience is very private and lonely. They know at a cellular level, or perhaps a soul level, that the symbol means something important but they are often ridiculed when attempting to discuss it openly even among friends and family. There have been several books written on the subject that attempts to explain the meaning and while most experiencers are relieved to know they are at least not alone with these phenomena the explanations offered for its recurring manifestations often fall short of resonating with their inward feelings.
John Ramses is an American born author, historian, treasure hunter, artist musician and songwriter. He is also the creator and CEO of Ghost Radio Network and Ghost Radio Australia as well as the producer of his wife’s show, Underworld. John has lived with the enigmatic 11:11 for over 33 years, most of it in private. During this time he has taken careful note through observations of what occurs in his life when the symbol appears.
In 1995 John created his first website for the sole purpose of asking: “Does anyone else see 11:11” In the months and years that followed he became inundated with thousands of emails from people the world over who shared the phenomena. One particular email would change the course of his life and send him to the opposite side of the planet to blend his life with a very special young lady and her two children. Her name is Lia Ramses.
In 1997 Lia was a content single mother living an normal life in Kingsley, Western Australia. Then one week in April she began to be bombarded with the number 11:11. It appeared on receipts, gas pumps, clocks and license plates and more. Until then Lia had never experienced this phenomena. It so unnerved her that it prompted her to search for a meaning on the internet. Her query ultimately landed in the inbox of John Ramses, who was residing in Portland, Oregon at the time. A dialogue began that turned into a friendship and then a romance within a few short months. John and Lia were engaged. On September 2nd 1999 John left his home country and joined Lia in Australia. They were married November 11, 1999 at 11:11pm on the beach of Mullalloo, Western Australia. Uncanny, the ceremony took exactly 11 minutes while above the Indian Ocean hung an 11% moon.
Today Lia Ramses is the co-director of Ghost Radio Network and the host of the popular Underworld Show, Ghost Radio’s flagship talk show. Lia is a mother of 3 children - two girls and a son who was diagnosed with autism. She has lived with the so called ‘paranormal’ throughout her life as her mother and grandmother had done before her. Lia has collected an impressive library of books covering nearly every subject in the paranormal and spiritual genre. Lia has been published or featured in several magazines as well as TV. In 2004 Lia started ‘Haunted Australia’ Australia’s largest database and information portal for paranormal and alternative events, stories and news with it’s own products and an up-coming DVD (2008) series that will include great psychics and mediums such as Robbie Thomas, Scott Alexander King and many more. Lia’s Haunted Australia has drawn the attention of writers for the Sunday times, Perth Woman Magazine, Take 5 and more.
As the host of the Underworld Show, Lia has interviewed over a hundred of the world’s foremost specialist in paranormal and Alternative research, and has earned their respect as well as a reputation as Australia’s premiere talk show host on subjects of Ghosts, Hauntings, UFO, Psychic, Alternative History and more. Her life since 11:11 first appeared to her has become far from the ‘normal’ life she had once lived.
